Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kaira mobile application, website at kairaa.app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Kaira (“Kaira”, “we”, “us”) offers a 66-day reset experience for building habits across six life pillars. Contact: privacy@kairaa.app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use Kaira. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Your account
- Sign in is available via Google Sign In or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You may delete your account through in-app settings or by contacting privacy@kairaa.app.
4. The Service
Kaira helps you run 66-day reset cycles, track habits, receive supportive AI moments, and grow a personal constellation of completed cycles. Features may change over time. Kaira is a wellness and habit-support tool — not medical, mental health, or professional advice.
Not a substitute for care. If you are in crisis or need clinical support, contact a qualified professional or emergency services. Recovery features in Kaira are designed to be compassionate, not diagnostic or therapeutic.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Kaira Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store. Subscription management and receipt validation are handled by Apple and RevenueCat on our behalf.
Plans (United States)
- Weekly: $9.99 USD per week, billed immediately upon purchase.
- Yearly: $59.99 USD per year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. After the trial, your subscription renews at the yearly price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Payment and renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings → Subscriptions after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice where required by Apple or applicable law. Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies; we do not process refunds directly.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
- Share account access or resell subscription access
- Upload content that is abusive, harassing, or infringes others' rights
- Circumvent subscription or access controls
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that harms other users, the Service, or violates these Terms.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create in Kaira (habits, check-ins, letters, reflections, voice journals). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service — including AI features you invoke — as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. AI features
Kaira uses AI to generate supportive text at designed moments. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, or financial decisions. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including Kaira branding, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content except as needed to use the Service.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KAIRA AND ITS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kaira from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
